Talkin’ Tauntauns - A Star Wars Discussion

Interview: Heather Antos

Episode Summary

Star Wars in Poor Taste squadron report in - JJ Travers checking in, Connor Christiansen checking in, Jim Lehane checking in, and special guest, Heather Antos checking in! Heather joined Valiant Entertainment as an editor in January of 2019. Prior to joining Valiant's team, she worked at Marvel as an editor from 2015 to March 2018, where she helped develop Star Wars comics in partnership with the Lucasfilm story group. We have her to thank in part for titles such as Star Wars: Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Doctor Aphra, Poe Dameron, Screaming Citadel, and a whole lot more. We were lucky enough to speak with Heather about the unique process of creating new canon with Marvel Comics and the Lucasfilm story group, how she tackled adapting three Star Wars films of the modern era to comics, her love for Doctor Aphra - which Connor may have lost his mind over - and the best moment her passion for Star Wars brought her.
